Hey everyone! Hope you are all enjoying this month so far! With December upon us and you know what right around the corner, I was delighted to once again be asked to take part in Kristy’s cookie swap party. It’s been a crazy month around here and I’m excited to share more in the New Year, but these days have been amazing and I’m feeling rested, well, and inspired. I hope you are all calmly enjoying this time — starting with a few treats like these!

For those of you who don’t know Kristy, one visit to her blog and you’ll know – she’s a dynamo of creativity & her recipes and pics (by her lovely husband Chris) are as beautiful as they are kind to the planet, which is Kristy’s mission above all else.

Her road to veganism story is a great read for anyone looking to make some dietary changes, or just to see what makes a girl like her tick. I’m proud to count her as a blog friend and am so excited for this cookie! Thanks for having me Kristy!

Last year I brought my Gramma’s Raspberry Birdsnests, and this year I’m thrilled with how these shortbreads turned out. Have a great time perusing the rest of the swap, and I will see you there! Get the shortbread recipe here! xo

When you use coconut butter in your recipes, do you meat creamed coconut meat (https://store.nutiva.com/coconut-manna/) or coconut oil, please? Can’t wait to make these! :)
